Shaunna Sutcliffe, ERYT-500hr
I am Shaunna the owner and operator. I taught at Epidavros in Gresham for over 10 years and then managed for 1 year. When Epidavros had to close, I was able to open Rising Tide Yoga Studio in its place.
I want to live in every moment every day, surf when I’m 80, and play with my great-grandkids. It is my pleasure and my goal to help you create similar goals and to achieve them. Yoga and wellness have helped me do this, and to overcome stress & chronic pain, which can cause premature aging and disease. I truly believe that without yoga, self-care and nutrition, I would be severely disabled.
As a chronic disease and pain survivor, I need movement and self-care daily. I have several students with disease, injuries, pain, and other disorders, who have improved their daily pain levels, posture, and healing times from injuries. I also have students who just want to lose weight or increase strength.
Certifications and Training: In 2012 I received my 200-hour Certification with Heartsong Yoga In Beaverton. In 2015 I received my 500-hour Holistic Yoga Therapeutics with Annie Adamson at Yoga Union in Portland, Oregon, and Primal Vinyasa Certification in 2017 from Annie as well. I have training in Vinyasa yoga, Yoga for Seniors, and Chair yoga, and certifications in Aerial Yoga, and The Roll Model Method (self-massage training with Jill Miller). In October 2021 I received my Reiki 1 certification and will receive my Health Coach Certification in December 2021. In 2023 I took the Yoga and Lympathics Training with Yoga Medicine and the Trauma Informed training with Sedona Yoga Festival.
I’m focusing on Health Coaching now, helping clients learn healthy grocery shopping, cooking, and meal planning. This can all be done virtually, or in person if you prefer.
Nutrition, stability, strength, and health are more important now, as our culture has designed a life of ease, more sitting, and less physical work. People have more injuries and pain from repetitive movement patterns and lack of movement now! We will work TOGETHER to create, goals, mantras, and a vision of your future that you CAN achieve.
My dream is to find my body's true potential and live life to the fullest; what’s yours?

Cathy Tarsia IAYT -800hr
Cathy Tarsia is a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist. She completed a 200-hour Yogaworks training with Rosie Acosta in Portland, OR. She has taught with Living Yoga, a non-profit organization, working with individuals in recovery, since 2017.
In 2019, she completed a 300-hour Yoga Teacher training with a focus on Yoga Therapy, taught by Sarahjoy Marsh. In June 2021, Cathy completed an 800-hour Yoga Therapy training, accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists, (IAYT) led by Sarahjoy Marsh.
She has also taken Between the Mat and the Meeting: Ayurveda for Addictiveness training with Durga Leela, and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist training with Kathryn Templeton.
Cathy helps people seeking recovery, particularly with a history of trauma, unhealthy attachments, addiction, anxiety, depression, co-dependence, loss of self-identity and loss of loved ones. In order to overcome these issues, she would like to help you experience a deeper connection through breath, body, and mind. As you grow in awareness of your own inner resilience and your natural
body's intelligence, her hope is that you can choose the life that you seek, rather than the one that you feel has been handed to you.
From Cathy:
We will use the 1stsession to see what’s coming up for you, physically, emotionally and psychologically. We’ll work together using all tools of yoga and Ayurveda if you’re open to it. I will give you a little homework each time so we can progress on this journey together. We’ll work at your pace in a safe and compassionate form and always within strictest confidence.

Katrina Cantu, RYT-1000hr
Sattva Yoga Teacher~Energy Worker~Vedic Astrologer
I have been studying yoga, meditation, and self-actualization for years. I have completed over 1000 hr YTT, Reiki 1, and Jyotish training. (Reiki is energy healing and Jyotish is Vedic Astrology.)
My yoga is diverse. I teach a blend of Hatha, Kundalini, and Kriya Yoga. I know the importance of breath and the movement of our bodies. I blend my styles together to create an experience that will leave you feeling energized, refreshed, and calm. My purpose includes creating community. I love when others feel supported, loved, and understood.
I attended my first yoga class with my Grandmother at age 12, since then I’ve had a curiosity to dive deep into life and seek meaning.
Growing up in Southern California, I was conditioned to a fast paced life, full of stress and suffering. I moved to Oregon in 1997 and fell in love with Mount Hood and its forest. Nature has reminded me to return to myself. My readings and teachings will support you in doing so yourself. Reconnecting with your heart and your highest potential.
Being an adventurer, I have traveled extensively around the world, learning about yoga, culture, and life in general. My travels and studies have created a unique skill set that flows effortlessly in my teaching. I have taught yoga and meditation in the US, Mexico, Spain, Peru, India, and Costa Rica. My passions include: self-growth and love, nature, reading, writing, studying the human condition, travel, teaching, learning and yoga!
My roots in spirituality run deep from a young age. I have always been attracted to the mystical and tuning into what is unavailable to the physical senses. Play is very important in my life, this ability to tap into the unknown opens up a whole new world to discover. Come play with me!
I look forward to practicing with you!

Denise 200 RYT
My name is Denise and I began my yoga journey 14 years ago. Back then I saw yoga as a type of physical activity with lots of stretching. I remember my very first yoga class and how my body and my mind felt, I felt invigorated and balanced. I was hooked!! Through my yoga journey and over the years my connection with my yoga practice has changed. It has changed from just a physical activity to the preparation of my body for birth (prenatal yoga). Now, my life with a full house and lots of energy (two young boys and a 90lbs Labrador), I look to my yoga practice for a mom kind of center and strength.
After going through my 200HR YTT with Hawaii Yoga Institute (100% virtual), I learned that I have the ability to change my practice to fit me, no matter where I am in my life. With life and the world constantly changing I can also make my yoga practice my very own.
I look forward in guiding you as you go through your yoga journey!
