VerdeEnergia Pacifica
For the first leg of our retreat, February 2- 10th, we’ll immerse ourselves in the lush, reforested jungle of VerdEnergia Pacifica—a thriving ecovillage and regenerative agroforestry project. More than just a retreat space, Verde is a living example of sustainability, where permaculture isn’t just a philosophy but a way of life.
Part ecovillage, part reforestation initiative, part working farm, Verde is home to a vibrant community dedicated to regenerating the land and sharing practical, hands-on applications of permaculture. Every aspect of life here—from the food grown on-site to the way the forest is nurtured—embodies a deep commitment to sustainability and harmony with nature.
For years, VerdEnergia has welcomed people from around the world through permaculture design courses, immersive internships, and community programs, offering experiential learning that transforms both land and lives.
During our time here, you’ll have the opportunity to live the rhythm of the jungle, connect with nature in a profound way, and explore sustainable living through hands-on experiences.
Sol Sanctuary in Playa Grande
Sol Sanctuary is right on the Pacific Ocean in Playa Grande, we’ll travel there Feb 14th-20th.
Nestled along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, and a short distance from Tamarindo, Playa Grande is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable experience for human, surfers and wildlife enthusiasts alike.
This vibrant coastal town is renowned for its pristine beaches, and consistent surf breaks, it attracts surfers from all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to catch your first wave or an experienced rider seeking a challenge, Playa Grande has it all.
Beyond its waves, Playa Grande is also home to incredible wildlife. Situated adjacent to Las Baulas National Marine Park, it offers the unique opportunity to witness the nesting ritual of leatherback turtles. From October to March they come ashore to lay their eggs.
Our center is located an hour and a half from Daniel Oduber Quirós International (LIR) Airport.

These women are strong, empowering, inspiring and warriors to the core. I learned to listen to my body mind heart and soul. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a lesson or just a reset in life!”

“Shaunna and Katrina curated an amazing relaxing retreat in Mexico. This trip had something for everyone; surfing, relaxing, adventures, exploring and everything in between. The massage therapist they hired was amazing and the beaches they picked were gorgeous. The food was delicious, healthy and nourishing. The excursions were full of adventure. They listened to everyone’s needs and had the ability to accomodate everyone’s wishes. I’ll definitely go on another retreat with them again.”
